What is ENDLESS?

Endless is a publication that seeks to address the largest concern in the generative Artificial Intelligence space, which is the non-consensual training of intellectual property when developing these models. Currently, there are numerous lawsuits directed at companies such as Open AI, Midjourney, and Runway ML addressing creatives concerns regarding their IP (artworks and other novel creations) being used in the training of the sophisticated AI models, enabling others to mimic their artistic aesthetic or nuanced process.

The Endless publication is a suggestive demonstration to enable the ethical and transparent use of these generative AI models to credit intellectual property through an innovative new form of media. Over the past six months, the research team has iterated a novel method to adapt various forms of media in a continuously growing (on the y-axis) publication that seeks to profile creatives in various industries.

Initially, the publication will solely profile artists/artworks that are in the public domain to stay clear of any copyright concerns or trademark infringements. Following the initial disclosure of the publication and once Endless has gained an appropriate level of journalistic integrity, it is our intent to collaborate with contemporary artists and reach a consensual agreement (between Endless and the artist) to adapt artworks and profile artists who are not in the public domain.

Mission Statement

Welcome to Endless. Our mission is to explore the implications of AI in the creative industry, addressing concerns related to infringed intellectual property and transparency when deploying such models.
